About Us

Kajo began in a quiet moment.
My dad brought home a 3D printer and simply said, “Try it.” It was something completely new to me. As a product and furniture design student, I’ve always loved making things. Usually with wood or ceramics, materials that take time and patience. But this felt different. The process was immediate. I could go from idea to object in a matter of hours. Each time I came home from work, I’d go straight to the printer. It became a quiet ritual that lasted for weeks. That’s where began. In that rhythm of curiosity and making.
Kajo was created from that feeling.
I was drawn especially to lamps. They’re simple objects, but they quietly change everything. Just one small light can shift the atmosphere of a space, making it feel warmer, softer, more lived-in, without asking for attention. That subtlety stayed with me.

Kajo is made with care, from beginning to end.
Each Kajo piece is 3D-printed in small batches from my home in Indonesia. Each piece is made to order using PLA filament and any production waste is recycled. I design, print, assemble, and package every product by hand. It’s slow, but intentional.
Kajo is rooted in quiet gratitude.
Its heart lives here in Indonesia, shaped by the calm, gratitude, and warmth I’ve grown up with. I began to see how special our pace of life is. We find joy in the everyday. We don’t rush. We laugh easily and take things as they come. That quiet optimism has stayed with me, and it’s something I try to carry through Kajo.
To me, calm is found in the art of noticing. The way light moves across a wall. The stillness of turning on a lamp as the day ends. These small moments matter more than we often realize. I hope the objects I create help you notice them, and feel a little more at peace in your space.
